As part of Saint-Gobain China university sponsorship program to communicate with and educate future architects, on the night of Dec 1, Tongji University Saint-Gobain 26th Top 10 Singers Competition Final was staged at the auditorium of Tongji University. Claude Imauven, Senior Vice President of the group and President ofConstruction Products Sector, Normant Emmanuel, General Delegate of Saint-Gobain Asia-Pacific, Sheng Paul, Managing Director of Gypsum & Industrial Mortars Activity China, and representatives from other business units attended the ceremony together.
The competition was officially launched on Oct 14.More than 500 participants from four campuses, representing over 40,000 registered students, competed for 16 seats in the final show.

After fierce competition, Mr. Normant gave out the award for the Most Popular, the Highest Potential, and the Best Performing singers. Mr. Imauven gave out the award for the third place winner and delivered a speech, starting with greetings in Chinese. In the speech, he referred that "As one of the leading universities in China, Tongji University has over 100 years of history with strong reputation in civil engineering and architectural. As the world leader in the habitat and construction markets, Saint-Gobain has a history of over 350 years. We both have a long history and we should work hard together to build the better future.” His speech was warmly accepted by students with thunderous applause.

Just before the event, Mr. Imauven and Mr. Normant met with the first Saint-Gobain scholarship top award winner and visited the campus, experiencing deep culture embedded in its over 100 years history.
